What We Do
Transmission Magazine is developed through a collaborative consultation and education process called 'Drawing Them In'. Hepatitis NSW team members deliver hepatitis C awareness education to hepatitis C affected communities. The participants are then guided through the development of characters and a story that is relevant to 'people like them', using their new knowledge.
Who We Serve
Transmission Magazine is developed with diverse communities, including people who are currently incarcerated, people who inject drugs, youth, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women, migrants, etc. The publication is delivered to organisational and individual subscribers across NSW, including to people living with hepatitis C and people who are currently incarcerated.
How We Impact
Transmission Magazine readers and survey respondents consistently report that the publication has increased their knowledge about hepatitis C and prompted them to take action on their health.
