Story Behind the Curve

The Community of Practice continues to grow both in the number of trainings offered and the numbers of practioners served. The breadth of content has also expanded to impact organizations both within Montgomery County and the State of Maryland.

There is a great demand for trainings that are free or low cost particularly for small non-profits.

Data Discussion

Registrations for YD CoP offerings remained consistent with previous years. However, during the pandemic attendance and participation has dropped significantly from previous years’ averages of 80% to 40% in FY 21. This had a significant impact on survey and poll participation in the virtual formats/forums and rate of return of surveys versus survey return for in-person YD CoP offerings in previous years collected (which were collected in the venue from participants in-person).
