Family Economic Stability

An integral part of ending the cycle of poverty involves a family's economic stability. A family must have enough income to meet children's basic needs, including food, shelter, clothing and transportation. The indicators within this area of child well-being evaluate whether a family experiencing intergenerational poverty is able to meet the basic needs of the family.
