All COMMUNITY MEMBERS are aware of domestic violence, are educated about resources to prevent it, and are active participants in preventing domestic violence from occurring in the community.
Why Is This Important?
Ending domestic violence must involve the entire community, and must include a focus on prevention. The strategies in CWP 3.0 were designed to incorporate education, advocacy, and active community engagement to ensure that all members of the Central Indiana community are informed about the issue of domestic violence, understand their individual opportunities to address the issue, and are engaged in efforts to end domestic violence, either formally or informally.
