Act 155 required Vermont EMS to provide an online learning management system for licensed EMS providers.Vermont EMS contracted with LearnEMS in March 2013.LearnEMS has pre-built content for both advanced and basic provider and also allows for custom Vermont EMS education to be delivered.In October 2013, Vermont EMS rolled out an extensive protocol revision and training program that utilized LearnEMS and went through March 2014, which explains the spike in CE hours.Providers also have the ability to complete approximately one half of their re-licensure/recertification requirements on LearnEMS.
Vermont EMS undertook an AIM project to streamline the account acquisition process so that more providers will utilize LearnEMS to its capacity.
