Story Behind the Curve
The trend line for Talbot County High School students drinking and using heroin at least once have both declined slightly from 2013 to 2014. We will continue to track substance use amongst students and the youth population carefully over the next several years to determine if this slight decline is the beginning of a positive change or an anomaly.
Overdoses in the adult population continue to rise and are a grave concern to the community.
