3.3.1.1 - Educate and involve staff in accreditation initiatives by July 2015.
Strategy 3.3.1.1 Update (December 2015) – By September 2015, all staff had received a
presentation from the department’s Accreditation Coordinator outlining
accreditation, PHAB, and the 10 essential Public Health services. Staff
from multiple programs within the department have been involved in
accreditation documentation identification and collection.
Strategy 3.3.1.2 - Conduct a self-assessment of accreditation readiness by August 2015.
Strategy 3.3.1.2 Update
(December 2015) – Strategy completed in October 2015. Analysis
allowed the department to apply to PHAB in December 2015.

3.3.1.3 - Complete the 3 pre-requisites (strategic plan, CHIP, CHA) and submit
our PHAB Statement of Intent (SOI) and Application by August 2015.
Strategy 3.3.1.3 Update (December 2015) – Strategy completed in
December 2015.
The department submitted our application to PHAB in December 2015.
