Story Behind the Curve
In 2018, Dartmouth-Hitchcock initiated the 'Community Resource Corps,' an Americorps direct services program that will train Americorps Members to serve in community organizations serving persons with substance use and mental health disorders, helping those individuals navigate to food supports, housing programs, recovery programs and other services that address behavioral and social needs. Dartmouth-Hitchcock, working with Volunteer NH and the Corporation for National and Community Service, recruits, trains, places, and supervises Americorps Members in community organizations. This measure reflects the number of persons this Americorps program served in April-December 2018.
