At the end of 2017, we reached our target headline performance measure of providing workshops in all 100 counties statewide.
We began to monitor the depth of support provided to each county by looking at the Falls Prevention, Chronic Disease and Culture of Results evidence-based workshops. In 2018, we provided 1229 workshops in counties across the state.
Finally, in 2019 we began looking at the capacity being built in each county-- the counties represented at each training, workshop, meeting, or conference presentation hosted by NCCHW, Healthy Aging or Culture of Results. Each county is only counted once at each workshop in which a participant or multiple participants attend, reflecting NCCHW efforts to build the capacity of leaders who can implement programs and change systems across the state through their learnings.
What We Do
This map demonstrates at the counties affected by the NCCHW Initiatives as of June 2018. After that, the NCCHW team began tracking support in each county differently across the Culture of Results and Healthy Aging initiative and no longer looks at combined representation across counties.
