Prioritization of service for eligible weatherization clients is based on multiple factors that determine those with the greatest need are served first.  This "WAP Ranking" includes prioritizing households that receive fuel assistance, families with elderly, children and folks with disabilities among other factors.  Households receiving fuel assistance get siginificant priority points, however, about half the homes each year that are served do not receive fuel assistance.  This is due to other prioritization factors and the fact that very few multi-family buiding households receive fuel assistance.  When looking at true one-unit homes in 2023, 52% received fuel assistance as well as weatherization services.
