Story Behind the Curve

'Engagement' includes social media content interactions, post enagements (likes, comments and shares) and mentions.

In July 2022, we rolled out our latest campaing, which included paid advertising and promted posts. The campaign used paid ads with Facebook and Instagram to promote the campaign before, during and after Hepatitis Awareness Week and World Hepatitis Day. The paid campaign meant a large increase in stats for our social media for that month, which has since dropped to regular, but healthy levels.

Social media used to sit under our general web presence, but we decided in July 2021 to seperate it out. By spotlighting this increasingly valuable form of communication, we are able to better hone our communication skills. Our social media data includes Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. (Our YouTube channel has it's own scorecard.)

What Works

As could be expected, paid posts and promotions are the most effective driver of engagement on social media.
