Story Behind the Curve
FY21: Participants enrolling in the program typically present with 1-2 barriers to employment, which are often handled in house by the vendor. Common barriers include lack of support, education or skills training for gainful employment. The most common referral for youth in the program is to the College of Southern Maryland for GED and Adult Education Services. The CCFN will propose a new performance measure in FY22 to better reflect "how well" the program is removing barriers to employement.
