Story Behind the Curve

This data helps the health department assess if the programs they are offering to help youth and adults quit work. Youth are often court ordered to participate in the program and often have no intentions of changing behavior. Even so, most youth do report a reduction in use during the program. A high percentage also indicates that most adults that participate in the cessation program are also successfully able to reduce their tobacco use.
