Interventions included: letters sent home to parent/guardian from the school; phone contact to parent/guardian related to attendance concerns; school meetings with the parent/guardian, student and school administration; meeting student and a school staff person related specifically to address school absenteeism; school consequences such as after school detention, lunch detention, in-school suspensions, and/or withheld school privileges; Grade reduction for absenteeism; Credit loss, if applicable; Parent and/or student contact with the Every Day Matters! Attendance Program Truancy Coordinator; Attendance of the Chisago County Attendance Intervention Meeting (AIM) hosted by the Chisago County Attorney's Office; and/or an Educational Neglect referral to Chisago County Health and Human Services Department or a Truancy Petition filed with Chisago County Attorney's Office.

EDMAP involves collaboration between the Chisago Lakes, North Branch and Rush City School Districts; the Chisago County Attorney's Office; the Chisago County District Court; Chisago County Health and Human Services; Chisago County Court Services and St. Croix River Education District.

Truancy coordinator will reach out to existing Youth Service organizations...i.e Family Pathways, Youth Service Bureau, and Community Partnerships.
