Story Behind the Curve
Families that have been engaged for more than 4 months have shown an increase in the ability to advocate for the needs of their children, but many families that the Family Navigator has worked with are not staying actively engaged for 4 or more months to be able to track that increase in ability.
This lack of engagement may be due to many factors - the way that referrals are received, the lack of understanding of how this program can assist them, too many agencies currently involved in their family's life, etc.
