Story Behind the Curve
Active Parenting was offered to each family that engaged with the Family Navigator. At this time, only one family has engaged in that training and has postponed finishing it due to complicated health issues.
Family Navigator has continuoulsy attempted to forge relationships with the local warden and has contacted the warden at the Pre-Release center, as well, with no success in engaging them in our supports and trainings at this time.

Action Plan
Family Navigator will continue to look for opportunities to develop those partnerships in the prisons in order to offer Active Parenting classes in the future.
Data Discussion
FY 20: HFY1 Due to the space restrictions, Active Parenting cannot take place within the Dention Center. To adjust, the program has been offered in-person/in-home sessions. 2/6 families completed in the first half of the 20 fiscal year. There was an in-person, group Active Parenting Class scheduled for April, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, this had to be cancelled. This program was offered via Zoom, and 8 families outside of this priority group participated. It will be encouraged for families within this population to take future virtual classes.
FY 20: HFY2 The event was scheduled for April, but due to COVID-19 restrictions they were unable to have classes. Family Navigation then opened the class up to a virtual classroom, and accomodated 8 families not a part of the targeted population. The number for HFY2 is 0.
