2011-2013:
First communication established with 80% of the schools. Early finding show that 80% of the schools have a smoke free policy and 55% do not have the policy posted.
2013-2015
First communication established with 80% of the schools. 80% of the schools have a smoke free policy and 55% do not have the policy posted.
2015-2017
First communication established with 23 of the schools. 21 of the schools have a Tobacco free policy, only 9 have complete tobacco free campus policies, and 11 have the policy posted.
2017-2019
Communication established with 23 primary/secondary schools, 2 colleges. 25 of the schools have a Tobacco free policy, 12 have complete tobacco free campus policies, and 17 have the policy posted. (PPHD Database, 2016) 8 included e-cigarettes (PPHD Database, 2015)
2017-2019 Objective: Educate and offer technical assistance to 90% of the schools to develop, enhance, or enforce tobacco-free campus policies to assure strong school tobacco policies by June 30, 2019. (90%=23)
