• One business has adopted the smoke-free entry way of 15ft from the door policy.

2013-2015

• Three business have adopted the smoke free entry way of 15ft from the door policy
• 3 businesses have adopt tobacco free campuses.

2015-2017

• 15’ from the entryway policy – 3 businesses
• Tobacco-free campus policy – 5 businesses
• Tobacco-free child care facility – 2 businesses
• Tobacco-free worksite - 6 businesses
• Smoke-free campus policy - 5 businesses

2017-2019

Transitioned from # of businesses with policies to total # of policies in this year, which is why you see a drastic increase. 

• Has a tobacco-free campus policy - 68
• Has adopted a policy that prohibits smoking on the whole worksite campus - 96
• Has a policy that prohibits smoking in outdoor work areas - 105
• Allows smoking outside only in certain places - 158
• Has adopted a policy that restricts smoking within a certain distance from the entrance of the building - 125
• Has adopted a policy that prohibits the use of chewing tobacco, snuff, snus, or dip in the workplace - 125
• Has adopted a policy that prohibits smoking in all company or agency vehicles - 135
• Has adopted a policy that prohibits e-cigarettes and/or vaping on the worksite campus - 92 (PPHD Database, 2016)

2017-2019 Objective: Educate and offer technical assistance to businesses to increase tobacco and smoke-free policies in workplaces to assure 15% more adopt policies by June 30, 2019.
