Through the annual Local Management Board survey, the Governor's Office for Children asks the Local Managements Boards to assess their utility in their local communities across 12 different domains. In FY16, respondents indicated that local jurisdictions and agencies rely on the Local Management Boards in a number of different ways, and it was clear that each of the Local Management Boards is viewed as an asset in the community, albeit in different ways. Moving forward, the Governor's Office for Children will work with Local Management Board staff and board members to ensure local jurisdictions view each of the Local Management Boards as a valuable resource across each of the 12 domains.
