Story Behind the Curve
FY21: Due to COVID, WCPS has moved to virtual learning and the vendor has been doing telehealth with the students. With virtual learning the vendor has been upable to receive updates on students behavior.
In FY18, 247 surveys were returned from a total of 721 individuals showing that 198 participants (80%) had decreased behavioral issues compared to the 186 surveys that were returned from a total of 603 individuals in FY17. In FY18, the vendor added a "not applicable" option to the survey question regarding decreased behavioral issues where in years past, the student would have to choose either yes or no. In FY18 because some of the students chose "not applicable", it reduced the numbers being reported for decreased behavioral issues.

What Works
Schools that maintain the same therapist from previous years had a higher number of students participate in the program due to the comfort level of the students and schools witht he therapist.
