What Works

First time offenders referred to the Teen Court process completed their sanctions by the deadline and many respondents asked to participate in Teen Court by serving on the jury on future cases.

Data Discussion

At intake the youth and their parents are informed that if they successfully complete the Teen Court Process they will avoid being referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.  Due to Covid-19 some youth requested extensions to complete their sanctions and they were able to complete all sanctions by the extended deadline.
