Story Behind the Curve
The timing between intake and court date may require some referrals to be carried over to the next fiscal year. Referrals increased at the end of the year and 2 cases were carried over to next year.

What Works
Many respondents referred to the Teen Court Process join as jury members after completing their sanctions. The recidivism rate is low. Law enforcement are referring more youth to the diversion program.

2 referrals are being carried over to next year. This carry over is due to the referrals coming at the end of the year and court schedules were full at the timing of intake. Court dates have already been scheduled for FY23.
